Drumming Around the World
Due to popular demand, the Knights in the Classroom are now offering our drumming workshops as both half and full-day session as well as part of our Full-day Festivals. These workshops explore drumming from an anthropological perspective and examine drumming throughout history and around the world: exploring its uses in work, warfare, rituals and entertainment. Students will learn to drum in various styles. Students will get a chance to try a variety of percussion instruments.
This workshop is guided by an experienced team of musicians with an array of talents and backgrounds.
